EFZ acts a role as the center of the trade between Turkish Exporters and Europe with the strategical location in Corlu district of Tekirdağ City.

Turkish Republic of Government Railways has a new project of railway will be passing through EFZ and will have a station inside the EFZ. Estimated complition date for the project is 2012.
