Meeting with Taiwan Delegation

The Taiwan delegation consisting of 45 Taiwanese company was in Istanbul in coordination and hosting of Taiwan Trade Center Istanbul office, being a part of "Taiwan Trade Mission to Turkey, Hungary, Poland and Russia" organization. European Free Zone was introduced to companies during the event and all delegation members were informed about investment opportunities in Turkey, free zone regulations, incentives and tax advantages throughout one to one meetings.

The Opening Ceremony of DTB Denizcilik

One more investment came to life in EFZ.The DTB Denizcilik which founded between Turks and Netherlands said ‘’Vira Bismillah’’ with the opening ceremony on March 23,2012.The parliamentarian of AKP Tekirdağ Mrs. Özlem Yemişçi,The Governor of Çorlu,The Mayor and the other state people joined the press conference and opening ceremony.Şahinler Holding Group Chairman Kemal Şahin expressed his satisfaction in his speech about the investment of DTB Denizcilik in EFZ, reiterated EFZ’s 2023 goals and said that approached the objectives step by step becouse of the new investors as DTB Denizcilik.The DTB Denizcilik manufactured 7 meters to 15 meters motor-sailing yachts according to special orders and sells to abroad with 100% export rate.

Iran Delegation Visited to EFZ

A business delegation headed by the Governor of Albroz,Islamic Republic Of Iran,visited EFZ on February 16,2012.After the presentation about free zone incentives and regulations,the questions of businessmen and oficcials were answered during Q&A session.After a complimentary lunch,delegation paid a visit to a free zone and some of the factories. The Iranian businessmen most of whom were in food,textile,construction materials and footwear sectors,showed great interest in EFZ, and the new investments going on in free zone.

A seminar program organized on ‘’The Place of Free Zones In Global Competition,Encouragements and Applications of Free Zone’’ with the cooperation of EFZ-GÜSİAD in the seminar hall of the Association of Güngören Industrialists and Businessman on the date of 11.02.2012.A working breakfast was held before the seminar with participants speakers from EFZ,Cüneyt Çalık,Ahsen Küçükçalık,Tarkan Değirmenci,Zafer Atbakan and with the members of the GÜSİAD and the other seminar participants.The participants from various sectors as confection,textile,food,shoe,construction materials listened the seminar program interestedly,then the questions of participants answered and the opinions for the year 2012 was expressed by speakers and the representatives of various sectors.
